Aim:
To extend the studies of units GAS2392 and GAS2381/GAS2382 by examining some specific applications of physics in industry and the environment.

This unit examines the techniques of measuring environment quality parameters together with a study of non-fossil energy sources as a contribution to a clean environment. Environmental and industrial noise legislation, techniques of measurements, and some physiological effects of noise are examined in acoustics.

Assessment includes tests and assignments (70%) and laboratory work (30%).

Prerequisite(s): GAS2392.
